Our client, based in Eckington, Sheffield, is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to work in their internal Payroll Team. Please read below for more details of this position:
Job Role: Payroll Administrator
Reporting to: Payroll & Expenses Team Leader
Key Purpose: To provide an effective and efficient payroll service to customers, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of their employees' salaries. Respond to requests, queries and complaints from external customers in a friendly and efficient manner so as to enhance customer loyalty.
Supplementary: To perform all duties in accordance with the company Health & Safety and Quality policy procedures. There may be additional activities to perform from time to time in order to maximise the contribution to Northgate's goals and objectives.

Main Areas of Activity, Functional Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Administer and Implement Payroll
- Ensures data is received in the right format and in time to complete payrolls to agreed deadlines.
- Prioritises and actions daily tasks to be accomplished to meet SLA.
- Calculates, prepares and transmits manual payments and third party disbursements.
- Runs sample payrolls to ensure quality and resolve errors or deviations.
- Liaises with the processing team for production of payroll outputs.
- Provides statistics to enable invoicing activities.
- Controls the reconciliation processes for own customer's third party accounts to ensure completion in line with SLA requirements.
- Identifies and acts on issues which would impact delivery of SLA.
- Reconciles PAYE and NI figures to ensure that customers pay the correct amounts to HMRC.

Salary: £30,500.00
Our client, based in Cranford, is looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator. You will be required to support the Pay Help and Standards Team Leader in maintaining the high level of payroll proficiency within the payroll office.
You will assist in the payroll self audit programme and advise on any pitfalls. You will also be required to advise on training and coaching needs for the office and assist the Team Leader in documenting and monitoring all written payroll and expenses procedures.

| Payroll Administrator
Trial period 6 months, initial salary 18-28 K
Location: Ilford, East London, IG8
- Responsible for day to day running of payroll for bureau clients
- Deal with all PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP and Attachment of earnings, Pension deduction, Starters/Leavers, PAYE end of year procedures etc.
- Deal with employee/Inland Revenue queries and liaise with all level of client personnel
- Deal with other office administration as required.
Skills Required:
Must have previous payroll experience and be flexible, able to work independently and as part of a small dedicated team. Demonstrate knowledge of previous payroll package used, experienced in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
Additional Notes/Benefits:
20 days holiday a year, increased by 1 day up to 25 days for every year worked.
